New in the speaker lineup at Lighten Up Expo & Health Fair
Margaret Furtado, MS, RD, LDN of Johns Hopkins Medical Center, literally speaks volumes when it comes to nutrition after weightloss surgery. She has written two cookbooks to enrich the dietary lives in the WLS community. Margaret shares with us the pitfalls of diets, not following up with you health care providers. The life of the patient is further involved in twist because of relationship, and sometime emotional issues. She believes in the whole body not just the surgery. For over twenty years this lady has kept life in touch with nutrition after WLS.
